I used spikes, but with the benefit of hindsight, I recommend crampons and an ice axe for Flume Slide. The surface is good, but toeholds are small in spots, and the consequences of a misstep with no means of self-arrest could be unpleasant.
A few icy spots.
Liberty Spring Trail is in excellent condition for a quick descent. |
