Tried skiing/skinning up Alexandria today. After the last bridge going up on Holt, skin track disappeared and the remainder of the time needed ski crampons or microspikes. Alexandria, being steeper, needed again some sort of light traction to get up. Skiing down Alexandria wasn't pleasant, but after a few inches of snow over the next 2-3 days, should be much better. Kimball had less coverage (was skiing over moss at times), but was a tad bit softer than ice and could hold an edge. Again, would wait for a few days to fill in some snow. Lower Dukes probably most resembles Kimball, Alexandria resembles upper dukes.
