Comments
Comments: Herd path from Sawyer River Road lot, Sawyer River Road, Signal Ridge Trail

Sawyer River Road very well packed by snowmobiles, easy walking conditions. Trails are rock-hard snow pack from the recent warm temps and likely some rain, then freezing weather. Spike traction is more than enough, though I used snowshoes the last 1/3 mile since my Achilles were raising some raucous. Beautiful, clear day, with outstanding views in all directions from the summit tower. A little wind, but nothing too terrible. Snow's on the way, so conditions will fluctuate!
