Lost and Found
Lost and Found: May have lost a nice headlamp on 19 Mile Brook Trail. Please email me if you find it, thanks.

Comments
Comments: Trails were firm enough to micro-spike it, with the exception of a small bit of trail on the ridge (less than a tenth of a mile) where drifts usually happen. There were postholes there - we stepped into them and managed not to contribute more than one of our own...that short section usually has drifts (and postholes, even with snowshoes), so no biggie.

Met up with Rachel and her friend. They were wearing 'shoes, but the aftermath of their hiking looked exactly the same as the aftermath of our hiking in 'spikes only. It was a hiker's choice today. (Well, it's actually ALWAYS a NH hiker's choice, in spite of some of the silly "my way is THE RIGHT way...for everyone!" comments you see now and then, but you know what I mean.)
