| Comments: |
The snow this morning was still soft and we were punching through at Camp dodge so Snow shoes went on and never came off all day, Some areas on Imp , the snow shoes were post holing into running water underneath, I assume with low temps today and through the weekend things will freeze up again. Carter Moriah trail was more packed down esp after South Carter. There was some ice forming but manageable today with snowshoes. Winds were WIld today! Beautiful views, saw only one person outside my group of 3 and it was the famous hiker ED :) Great Day out with Marta and Dan. |
