Comments: transition from fall to winter in evidence today..still some good foliage down below...snow on and off above 3000 feet then pretty solid above Garfield Pond Trail where we put on spikes..yesterdays slush turned to ice today and the surface was slick in spots..all snow off the trees here..30 degrees with 26 mph wind on the summit with far reaching views...excellent day out
