Comments
Comments: Some good soul had established the bushwhack awhile ago. It started out very clearly, at the tree with the T engraved in it. It faded out in a few areas from drifting but we managed to pick it up again each time. A solid 18 or so people hiked it today so it is very well established now. Rocky Branch trail was microspikes from parking lot to the whack, at which time we put snowshoes on. On way out, ran into a group Isolation/Davis Path junction that had bare booted in and I'm guessing they were the last ones coming out, so the whack might not be as pristine as it might have been with just snowshoers...nevertheless...fairly powdery so shouldn't be too tough smoothing out with snow shoes.
