Comments
Comments: One day sure makes a difference! We hit most conditions possible. We started in microspikes but were having to walk with splayed feet because of the soft conditions. Switched to snowshoes after about a half mile and they were much better for the snow. The problem was the water and rocks which made the pace SLOW! Above 3K it was snowshoes as the snow increased. There was plenty of open ledge on CM but lots of ice also. Met one other who had summited and he said last pitch to the summit was solid ice. Don't know if it will freeze up tonight so for now expect most everything
Still a nice day out with Karen and nice to meet Eric
