Comments
Comments: Straightforward hike, redlined Osseo at last! Previous hikers barebooted, so the upper 1/3 with its deeper snow and occasional drifts wasn't as nicely broken-out as the lower 2/3. I used snowshoes up and down, though, so it's quite fine now. Somber beginning at Lincoln Woods, with SAR teams gathered and awaiting the arrival of the helicopter that recovered the body of a hiker who perished on Bondcliff.
