Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: We parked at the end of Breezy Point Road, the class 6 portion is not plowed. There is also what appears to be a blowdown limb in the road that everyone is driving around. I stopped to pull it out of the way but then realized it was marking a big hole-a damaged culvert so don't run over it! One pickup truck there when we arrived.

Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: There are two significant blowdowns across the trail, silver birches 4 to 8" in diameter, one below and the other just above Misery Bridge. Above nearing the intersection of the Glencliff Trail the trail could use some serious clipping, we both got face whacked a few times (smells like Christmas trees).

Comments
Comments: I put my skins on my skis and Becca on her splitboard and there was less than a foot of snow all the way to Misery bridge, there are a few places of open water that can be avoided by stepping over or getting off the trail. Above Misery bridge the snow increased all the way to the intersection of Glencliff Trial there is well over two feet up there. We met four skiers on their way back down, the highest anyone in this group went was just below Snapper--it was nice they packed out the trail. About halfway up it really started snowing hard. The wind really picked up as we made our way to the summit cone. We kept on our skis/board until the very last tree, yah we went around some rocks and ice. From the last tree, it wasn't quite a whiteout, we bare booted to the summit and the strong wind pushed us the mountain--took us about ten minutes. Tag and we turned right around, our tracks were long gone and we followed the cairns back down to our skis. We took off our skins at the Glencliff intersection and glided all the way back to our cars. Excellent winter adventure and pleasantly surprised at the amount of snow we discovered! Winter is here!
