There was nothing surprising or unusual given the recent rain. Going down on the ski trails was fast but wet. Most had been cut. |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Wwet and a bit muddy but that's par for the course now and the mighty tough little dog doesn't mind. I sure wouldn't want to go barefoot in the cold slop. No other dogs seen today. |

| Comments: |
Spits of snow at 3100', snow on branches at 3700', 1/4" of snow on the trail/ground around 3900', all after Noon. 39 F at the top with some wind.
A Twins & Galehead traverse was put off until next weekend, but after wasting the morning on chores Pepper and I just had to hike. There's not many easier and better peaks for low clouds, wind and precip than nearby Tecumseh, but coming down the ski trail we got some views, spot sun and a double rainbow. We saw a couple of families with young kids on the trails, and a few other hikers. I'm so glad we live close to these mountains. |
