Trail well broken and packed, except on ridge, where snowshoes will be required. I used the Chimney bypass and it was a little hairy at the lower end. Don't recommend trying it in microspikes. I used full mountaineering crampons, but full trail crampons would be fine. I snowshoed up to the ridge enjoying the televators. Coming down from the ridge, I would recommend full crampons or full trail crampons. I don't think you'd be too happy with light traction. |
