I was impressed by the looks of the newly renovation on Madison Spring Hut. Hope they finished shingling the roof today before the rain/snow will arrive tonight. Never have been on Mt. Madison without some wind; but not today. All peaks were in the clear this morning but by the time I got to Waumbek in the pm all peaks were already in the clouds.Never met a single hiker today; quite unusual for such a great day. |
