Comments
Comments: So we had 4-6" of snow the day before, maybe more depending on where you live and I knew showshoes were a must. No one else was wearing snowshoes and they all commented that they should've brought them. They were miserable and I had a blast tromping in the snow :) I tried to even out the trail but the seven people that I saw were post-holing and bare booting so I tried!! Perfect day for playing in the snow, it rained on my ascent (they predicted snow) but when I got to the ski viewpoint it started to snow. It was getting slushy in spots on the descent. Great, quick solo hike :)
