Comments
Comments: It appeared 1 hiker had broken thru the previous day to the hut...with recent snowfalls it was basically an unbroken trail..4 of us used snowshoes from the parking lot...visibility above tree line was poor and the cairns were heavily encrusted with snow/ice making for a slow ascent...we made it to within 1/3mile of the summit but decided to head back down due to visibility, temps, wind chill, and affects on 1 of the hikers...nice broken trail for descent...fun day with my shipmates Chris, Nick, and Alex
