Comments
Comments: Booted to a bit above the Mizpah Cutoff, then snowshoes - micros not needed. Powder depths seemed to be 12-18" - tough to tell because of the winds. From Pierce towards Eisenhower - trail unbroken, slow going. Drifts up to 5-6' not uncommon, and encountered one 10-12' high. Ran out of time before making it to Eisenhower. It's real winter above 3,500'. Beautiful day up high. Trees/cairns heavily encrusted with snow.
