| Comments: |
2-4 more inches of snow from last weekend made for easier going. Trail is largely covered and packed now and I used micros the entire way. Anything else would have been overkill. Some drifts on the Carriage Road. 0F on top with winds consistently over 20mph and probably gusting to 40mph. The new snow made for whiteout conditions around 9am with no visibility from one cairn to the next. Lost the trail on the way down and had to traverse for a while to pick it back up. Counted 17 people today. Seemed to be a number of newbies out there. |
