Snow was never more than a couple inches deep. Microspikes worked well. Not much ice on the trails yet, just powdery snow.
We have almost finished gridding out these two peaks. The girls and I will miss seeing them during winter.
Alex was supposed to post this, but her schoolwork load is heavy...she hasn't posted reports here for quite a few months (though her trip reports are all on her blog). She'll get back into the habit here soon. The winter reports are so valuable - want to make sure we contribute our share. |
