| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Sawyer River Rd was snow covered and packed down pretty good in the afternoon. I would guess that it will be closed soon. |
|
| Surface Conditions: |
Snow - Packed Powder/Loose Granular, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |
|
| Recommended Equipment: |
Light Traction |
|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
The one crossing was rock hoppable with a couple steps on slightly submerged rocks. Others had gone just upstream. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
There is a 9" tree across the trail just below the summit. Easy to climb over. |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Marlie led the way up today. Easy terrain for experienced trail dogs. Winter is here so being your dog's jacket and/or boots and as always bring a bottle water for them. |
