Comments
Comments: About 1" of snow down low, with some open spots of mud/slippery leaves. Snow depth increased to 4" or so with a few deeper spots on Signal Ridge itself. The snow was really nice powder, not deep enough for snowshoes and not slippery enough for traction. A real gift to be able to do the whole hike traction free plus not to have to do the road walk in December! Snow lightly on us the whole day and no views, but it didn't dampen our spirits. Much love to my husband for joining me on the adventure! Nice to see HikerEd and Mike on the trail.
