| Comments: |
Down low, there was thin snow cover on the trail itself, with some wet/muddy spots. Past the fork 1.4 miles from US 302, the snow cover became more widespread, and about a 1/2 mile or so from the top of Jackson, there was no bare ground to be seen, and snow depths ranged from a few inches to as much as a foot. Cold and windy on the top with no views, but I was just so happy to get back out there- the early dusk from Daylight Savings Time ending is killing me! |
