Comments
Comments: Balance out the E's with the O's. Greeley Ponds Tr. was mostly a mix of mud, slush, water. Mt. Osceola Tr. turned from sticky snow to a nicely packed 3-6" snow covered trail. Wore microspikes all day as even down low there was minimal snow/slush coverage so as not to abuse spikes on rocks. Took some time today to gain the trust with traction coming down as it was first time since spring for me really needing traction. Mid 30's temps so steeps were soft with nice traction. Without traction definitely would've been some slips coming down; so recommended. Nice views of fog but had the views through the notch on the way home.
