| Comments: |
Sloppy conditions today, as temperatures were above freezing and the lower half of the trail's ground is still not frozen.
A mixture of slush and mud up to the top water crossing.
Above the viewpoint, there was generally consistent snowpack, though it was moist this afternoon, suggesting it could be slick tomorrow morning. Above 2-4" of natural snow on the ridge, but obviously not yet enough for snowshoes.
I barebooted roundtrip around lunch time, but was glad to have my rock spikes with me just in case. |
