| Comments: |
When a big high pressure system is over New England it is time to be above treeline in the Whites. I saw about 35 hikers and 4 dogs today, most of whom came up via the Rocky Branch Trail. The Glen Boulder Trail and Davis Path above treeline is a very nice area to spend time above treeline and is mostly quiet. Temps from 30 to 55 and clear blue sky with only a light breeze at times. There was only a few patches of snow and no ice on the trails. What a great day for November, it felt like September instead. |
