Barebooted in Hoka trailrunners today--great traction on wet rocks. Feet stayed pretty dry even though trail was quite wet after last night's and today's rain. Waited until 11am to start. There was no ice left and only tiny patches of snow in the woods. Streams were rushing. Nice to hear again.
Clouds lifted for a bit descending the ledges revealing fabulous views! Moriah Brook/Wild River Valley looked lovely. Briefly contemplated getting intentionally lost down there for the next few weeks...
Started drizzling in last mile... umbrella!
Saw no one today. I love November!!! |
