This was my second Fire Tower Quest hike of the day. The trail is described as rough, and I guess it is, but it was not hard. 8/10 of a mile took 35 minutes in each direction. Several hikers out on this trail. There were a few patches of ice on the trail, but they were very easy to avoid. Again to get a view you needed to climb up the tower stairs, but then I guess that's why the towers are there. |
