Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: plenty of room to park on the shoulder of the road before the gate. We drove from Stark on Paris Road and it was beautiful and in good condition. On the ride home we took Philips Brook to Route 16--oh my goodness it was so wrecked from ATV use!!

Comments
Comments: The bushwhack around the gate is simple and up the road we went. Now I've been to all the wind farms from Dixville to Lempster. Wind turbine #26 stands where the summit used to be--lots of moose tracks around it. Hiking back down we enjoyed the fabulous views south to the White Mountains. We were quick, round trip distance was under 7 miles. We were fast because I had to get to Bretton Woods to ski on opening day of the season in NH!
