Comments
Comments: A sunny, cool day with temps from 25 to 40 and very windy especially on Jackson. There was a trace of snow at the parking lot and about an inch on the ridge between Mizpah and Jackson. The issue today was ice and lots of it. It was slow going by stepping on the rocks protruding through the ice as well as walking on the side of the trail. I did have my microspikes but I did not use them. I saw about 30 hikers and 2 dogs. A very nice day to be in the woods.
