Comments
Comments: Microspikes came in handy just before breaking above treeline after the hut, although you could get by without them going up or down. They really came in handy on the descent below treeline from Little Haystack to just past the Shining Rock Spur. Saw a few hikers without them slowly making their way up Falling Waters Trail not having too much fun dealing with the ice.

Beautiful day out above treeline, felt like mid summer with the warm temps and no wind. :)
