Snow started around 3000 ft. I put my spikes on just below Zeta Pass and took them off at the Imp/North Carter Trail Jct. One could struggle without them, but wearing them is much easier and safer. Packed snow all the way across the ridge. Beautiful day today for a hike. Only saw 2 others today and one set of fresh tracks heading opposite my direction. They had gotten to Zeta and continued on to the Dome before I got there. |
