Comments
Comments: Trail was very icy and slippery with 2-3 inches of crusty snow on top. We used micro spikes for the middle mile and were happy we had them. Ran into a few hikers without traction that were having a real tough go of it., trying to make their way up the sides of the trail. Having said that we did the Kinsmans the following day and used light traction on the way up but on the way down it was so warm that most everything was melted, trail so Cannon may be similar.
