| Comments: |
Long Mountain is the highpoint of Wakefield, NH. There is a tower on the edge of the highest contour. Tower road is posted but woods nearby are not and it is not necessary to go near tower to reach the center of the highest contour where I think a small ledgy area with some spruce trees is the highest point. Top is flat with criss-crossing clear old skidder roads, we wandered around quite a bit trying to decide where the highpoint was hiding. |
