Both crossings were rock hopped with care. |

A couple step over blowdowns before the first brook crossing. Other than that, no issues. |

Only issue with this trail is how wet and muddy they'll get. Great one for dogs otherwise! |

Believe it or not, I shooed away a few swarms of them on the last 1/2 mile or so to the car. Kind of annoying... |

Hiked Hale with my Dad today- it was #17 on the 48 for him. The whole trail is very wet, with some snow and ice patches above 3,000' or so; light traction is the way to go, especially after a re-freeze. A few groups enjoying the day, including one person who hiked Hale for her first 4K! Props to her! |
