suspension bridge (recently replaced) is AWESOME - NICE JOB!!!!! |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Dry River Trail is leaf-covered and disappears at times. If you stop and look around you could lose the trail. I followed the river and lost the trail in a few spots on descent. The Isolation Trail (West) is an obstacle course... significant old and new blowdowns throughout - many axes needed. MANY bypasses, very brushy. In places, it looks completely abandoned. Drainages - what drainages? ALL SIGNS IN PLACE - YEAH!!! |

Awesome day to get out! REALLY loved Dry River Trail! Great to see Jeremy again! Great views although gusty at times. Standing on the summit was no problem. Kept boots (and clothes) dry most of the day until the descent when luck ran out and I slid into several really shallow streams/pools eventually dunking both feet and most of my pants/pack. Felt like a turtle as I tried to get out! (Why do they put hiking trails in the middle of streams???) Glad it was sunny :). |
