Comments
Comments: Great day to head up and wade across the Hancock's. Snow started a mile in and continually got deeper. Had I brought snowshoes I really think I would have worn them breaking out the ridge, I post holed and drunk walked the entire way. I wore 18" gaiters and could have used drier boots. Snow baskets are going back on the poles. I never took the spikes out as the temps made for fun, although dangerous boot sliding down the South peak. Lots of people did an out and back of South, Kali wasn't having it. We got both peaks but my time wasn't anything to brag about. Great day in the whites with that wonderful mutt!
