Comments
Comments: early start to beat rain, rain early used micros on way up but snow just balled up. took off for trip down, snow depths increased the higher you went. Very wet sticky snow, cool but not cold until summit. Lite wind but I was wet so it went right thru me. Changed socks & headed right down. Views were impressive, great under casts all around. Snow in the trees very peaceful, too bad I couldn't enjoy. Bailed on East peak as wet feet & weather conditions turning bad. Made it back just as the sky's opened up. Finished my 48th peak for 2016, wet & cold but a trip to the Woodstock Inn for lunch cured that!
