several cars in lot and saw around a dozen people on Signal Ridge Trail |

crossings all rock hoppable wth a few large steps |

trails well brushed and in good shape..many stepover and a few duck under blowdowns on Carrigain Notch and Desolation..we dealt with several of them |

took the less traveled route to Carrigain and was rewarded with lingering foliage and some very nice sections of trail.. Climb up Desolation gradually steepens and a bit rough in spots but offered some interesting views to the north.. Snow flurries , high winds, and a rain/snow bow to the east from othe summit...excellent |
