Comments
Comments: Just happened to notice the sign for the wayside as I was driving by and stopped in to check it out. From the parking area, the orange-blazed trail heads up an old woods road for about 0.1 mi., then turns right into the woods and becomes a proper foot path. At 0.5 mi. you reach the pond, which was completely fogged over today. From this point the trail loops around the pond. You can go in either direction, doesn't matter. The terrain is rolling, with some rocky and rooty footing in places, lurking under the heavy leaf cover. If you're looking for a nice short hike and you are in the area, this is a neat spot!
