Comments
Comments: Taking the loop up the Pine Bend Brook and Sabbaday trails is a great hike and certainly should be considered as an option for the Tripyramids. It begins with a long warm up through beautiful forest. The Pine Bend Trail ends with a steep and fairly rough assent to the intersection with Scaur Ridge Trail. From, there it is fairly easy going as you join the Mt. Tripyramid trail and hit the summits. There are nice but limited viewing areas at or near the summits. The trip down on Sabbaday Brook trail begins with a steep and ledgy decent and ends with a lovely woodland hike. There are numerous crossings of Sabbaday Brook ending at beautiful Sabbady Falls.
