Weather forecast error this weekend; Saturday ended up dry in this area (contrary to forecast) and Sunday ended up wet (contrary to the forecast). As a result, trails were damp from the on and off sprinkles and fog.
The majority of the ski trails are now mowed. The lower half of the gravel access road may not be a good idea to use during work hours due to ongoing construction of new trails (but at that point you can take a novice ski trail to the bottom).
The upper Mt. Tecumseh Trail has yellow birch foliage at this point. The drive on Route 49 and Tripoli is very colorful. Overall, foliage is still generally green, but changing. |
