Dog-Related Notes: This is a nice hike for dogs. However, we met up with a large moose on the Middle Polecat Trail. It was quite a confrontation with my nutty Lab.

Comments: The trails had quita a bit of standing mud and some slick roots. Considering all the recent rain we were pleasantly surprised at the condition of the trails.
