Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: As mentioned in previous reports the Forest Service has improved and increased the parking situation here. Love the private sign leading into trailhead road that says Beagle on property and drive slowly; so much more meaningful than a simple speed limit sign.
Surface Conditions

Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Took a rather large sized branch down that was hanging over trail (about 1\2 way up to Starr King) another broken one in same spot still slightly in trail higher up (tall hiker with folding saw could improve).
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Only water available was near bottom from spring that drains across water bar and a very small pool up at the "signed" spring nearing Starr King summit.

Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Found the views that have normally been missing on so-so weather days.

Comments
Comments: Trails totally dry other than a few mud pits between summits. Would be difficult getting filtered water from spring; trickling flow and very shallow, small pool. For anyone new to area check out view point slightly beyond Waumbek summit if you get as nice a day as today was.
