Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: The lower part of this section of the KRT really needs some love- the erosion along the lower mile or so is pretty bad. Also, the middle section is a big mess due to the fairly recently cut ski trail. Thankfully, the upper mile was in good shape.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Parts of this approach are steep and rough, and can be slippery when wet or icy, so keep an eye on your pups.

Comments
Comments: Hiked Cannon Mountain for the first time in over 4 years today. The erosion issues are still there, and the trail in the vicinity of the so-called "Kinsman Glade" ski trail is a mess, but luckily the trail is well blazed and isn't hard to follow. Excellent views from the summit tower and all ledge viewpoints, and the hot dog, chips, and Pepsi at the cafeteria hit the spot. Lots of people out and about enjoying NH's finest. Another fun and challenging hike in the books!
