Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Due to the drought all water crossing were either dried up or at such a small trickle not worth mentioning.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trails were in great shape. Thank you crew!
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Saw 2 dogs. Was very impressed with one owner carried his dog down off Adams due to the rocks roughness hurting his paws!
Bugs: Bees and fly's at top...didn't bother us but were about in the sun.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Found a black croc behind bench at Madison Hut.
Comments: No clouds in the sky what so ever. As you hit the summit of Adams you felt you could reach out and tap the cars going up and down the auto road, turn slightly then toss at rock at Mt. Jefferson...was a most wonderful day! Hiked with 2 awesome friends who had the pleasure of staying at the hut, I needed to hike out. Left them a surprise on their bunks!
Would like to do this hike again.
