About 30 cars in lot at 11:00; still room for many more. One of the best trailhead parking lots in the Whites. |

Dry Trail |

|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
You would've had to try to get your feet wet today on any crossings. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Some blowdowns on south end of loop easily stepped or straddled over. |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
None seen today other than those walking on Livermore Tr.. With the dry conditions I would imagine a hiking dog would have no problems with the slides. |

Few bites in parking late afternoon. |

| Comments: |
Had to dig up a plan B after deciding that Flume-Liberty was most likely too crowded. This worked; around 35 people met; half of them in morning on Livermore Tr.. The slides were as dry as possible but still required careful hiking. After going up North Slide I was actually glad I didn't go on planned Flume Slide hike. Took a fall on loose stuff coming down South Tripyramid banging elbow a good one. You need confidence in your traction to enjoy this one. |
