Trails were mostly dry. High elevation birch are starting to turn yellow. Some nice isolated red maples as well.
Work had paused on logging whilst I was descending, so I took a quick look at Green Peak...nice views from the new logging and could be a nice stop next year when hiking the ski trails.
The ski trails are mostly mowed. The very bottom of the gravel access road is closed at the moment due to logging, but I saw no issue in just descending Valley Run to avoid construction. |
