Comments
Comments: Water flowing on trail at lower section of Glen Boulder, Lawn Cut-Off near Tuckerman Junction, Lion Head just above Alpine Garden Trail, and lower Tuckerman Ravine. Able to keep the boots relatively dry by rock hopping in these sections of trail. Rime ice on alpine grasses, krummholz, signs, and summit structures. Exposed ledge and boulders were generally dry. Summit at 28F and 12F wind chill at 2:00PM. Nevertheless there was a crowd at the summit although few on observation deck or at the true summit. Tuckerman Ravine cascades running strong as was the Gulf of Slides headwall cascade. High water flow at Crystal Cascade and Glen Ellis Falls. Trails were well marked and maintained.
