Comments
Comments: Be aware that the description in the 29th edition of the White Mountain Guide is outdated due to trail relocations in response to the water damage to the original trail from the 2011 tropical storm. The old path is blocked by brush so the new route is the more obvious path. Some leaves were turning color but most are still green.
The views from Signal Ridge and the summit observation platform were good although somewhat limited due to the cloud deck obscuring the peaks above 5K feet.
Many other hikers on the trail today.
