| Comments: |
We went up the Wildcat Risge Trail from the Ellis Falls parking lot, and after visiting the falls, hot peaks E, D, C, B, and A. We then returned via the Ridge Trail to peak D and took the Polecat ski trail down to the Wildcat ski resort parking lot, where we'd spotted a car so as to avoid descending the ridge trail from D. Wildcat Ridge Trail is notorious for a reason due to being steep and rough and having so many ups and downs. But it was a gorgeous day for it and we could see six layers of mountain ranges in the distance. |
