Comments
Comments: The Dry River Tr from 302 is in nice shape up to the the Mt Clinton Tr intersection. (The Mt Clinton Tr crossing is very confusing after a recent re-route. The trail is marked w/ orange tape well upstream of the existing cairns) after this there is a large tree obstructing the trail but a crawl through is possible. The trail becomes a bit rougher and muddier further on, but still fully passable. The designated campsite near the Isolation Tr break is in excellent condition. (there are several others nearby) A side trip to the Dry River Falls discovered one of the more beautiful basin & falls in the Whites. The Isolation Tr is good shape despite several avalanche slides it is fully passable. I did some significant house cleaning along the way, clearing some minor obstructions and filling in some bog bridges. Davis Path to Isolation is a highway with some muddiness but no problems. Congrats to Stitches as she completes her NH 48 today.
